The Gandhi Kanjangad Swadeshi Festival Centre for Rural Development in colloboration With the Kanjangad Swadeshi Centre organised a week long Swadeshi Festival at Kanjangad Hosedurg Service Co-operative Bank Hall from 2 to 8 January,2011.The Festival was officially inaugurated by K.P.Kunjikannan Ex.MLA and the Chairman of the P.N.Panicker Ayurveda Medical College and Karayil Sukumaran(Director,Yuva Vikas Kendra,Payyannur and National Secretary,NYP),U.Lakshmanan(Secretary,Mahatma Mandiram,Kannur and Dr.Jacob Pulickan(Director,Gandhi Centre for Riral Development) participated the Programme.

 

As part o the Festival, three Training Programmes in Home Made Products and two seminars on Swadeshi were conducted.A wide range of Swadeshi Home Made Products were also exhibited to educate the general public whatever products that  they can produce by themselves.
